Residential Treatment Program

Centra Bridges Treatment Center is dedicated to excellence, integrity, innovation, value and service. Established in 1987 in Lynchburg, Virginia, the focus of Bridges is to provide a success-oriented, therapeutic environment that includes the participation of the family and the community in the child's treatment. {more}

Located in rural Amherst County, Virginia, Centra Bridges at Brightwell is an 8-bed group home for males between the ages of 8 and 18. {more}

Centra Bridges Partial Hospitalization Program

The newest addition to our continuum of mental health services for children and adolescents, this program provides short-term (about two weeks), intensive therapy for adolescents in the Lynchburg region who require daily treatment but who can be safe at home in the evenings and weekends. Centra Rivermont Schools and Centra Autism Program

Since 1986, Centra Rivermont Schools have served children with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities, and several years ago began providing autism services. With 8 campuses across Virginia, Centra Rivermont Schools offer a special education program for children with special needs, ages 6 through 17, who have difficulty learning in a regular school setting. Centra Autism Program is currently available at four locations (Danville, Roanoke, Virginia Beach and Lexington). {more}

Centra Community-Based Programs: Centra Intensive In-Home and Centra Day Treatment

Centra Community-Based Programs include Centra Intensive In-Home Services and Centra Therapeutic Day Treatment (after-school treatment for students). Centra Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT) is currently available for students attending Centra Rivermont Schools in Lynchburg. {more}

Crisis Stabilization: Inpatient Treatment at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital

Established in 1986, Centra Child & Adolescent Acute Psychiatric Program treats children and adolescents who need immediate, intensive help with severe emotional or behavioral problems. Designed to provide short-term, acute, inpatient care for children ages 5 through 17, Centra Child & Adolescent Acute Psychiatric Program offers crisis stabilization, diagnostic evaluation, focused therapy, daytime treatment and further referral. {more}

Outpatient Psychiatry & Psychological Services, Medication Management and Therapy

Centra Piedmont Psychiatric Center is a multidisciplinary psychiatric outpatient practice offering a full spectrum of mental health services. The diverse expertise of our staff allows us to treat all aspects of a patient's problem, from the biological to the emotional, cognitive and spiritual manifestations.
